Marcos André: “I've come prepared and I know what Valencia CF are all about”
Marcos André is the newest addition to the Valencia CF squad, having undergone a medical and signed his contract with the club on a busy Wednesday. The Brazilian also sat down with VCF Media to give his impressions of the new challenge in his career, and expressed his ambitious nature and excitement.
The signing
It's beautiful. I'm happy to be here, and to start a new chapter of my life and my career. I'm very excited to be here. I'm looking forward to getting to work.
Thanking the club for the move
I can only thank everybody involved in bringing me here today. The best way of showing my gratitude is on the pitch, but I want to thank the club for their efforts in bringing me here, and I promise to repay them with the utmost motivation.

A desire to compete
When you come here, you always have the desire to compete, to win and to have ambition. I'm full of gratitude for the effort that the club and everybody else made to bring me here.
José Bordalás' admiration
It's a big boost to do things well and work harder than anyone. I want to help my teammates to do something very beautiful this year.
The impact of the fans
I'm grateful for the confidence and affection that has been shown towards me over the past few days. I promise to repay them for that and meet the expectations that people have for me. I'm very excited and very happy to be here.

The challenge ahead
I'm prepared. I know what Valencia CF are all about, and what they want to do this year. I'm here to help, with a lot of hard work, and I'm looking forward to getting out onto the pitch with my teammates.
Objectives as a Valencianista
I've come to Valencia CF and I know what the club want. I know that Valencia CF always want to be at the top, and I want to be there with them, aspiring to the highest possible achievements with this club. That would be beautiful, and I hope that I can help Valencia CF and my teammates to be where the club always deserve to be.
Getting to meet his new teammates
The other players have been at the club for a while, which motivates me to be with them and train alongside them, learning and competing together.
